The AI chat was an interesting one. Its one area of AI that has been thoroughly 'milked', inevitably leading to an "industry default" design. While it evidently does work well, its always felt cold and flat to me, and missed that high-tech aroma you'd expect from and AI assistant.
An issue that needed addressing was the lack of an option to change the active personas in the chat.
The actual UX order of the modules in the page did not need re-arranging. There's no point in re-inventing the wheel, especially when its so familiar and intuitive. Instead what I did was made it feel more bright and friendly. Giving the UI layers and shades made it feel like an actual chat, and not a printed google document.
One feature that needed adding however, was the ability to change the persona you wish to "communicate" with. This was an easy solution, as by putting a selector near the text box, its in a convenient spot.
